Tristan Holgate

Director of Bands

       Tristan Holgate currently serves as the Director of Bands at Westwood High School in Mesa, Arizona. He directs the Westwood Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble as well as the Westwood Warrior Marching band and Westwood Pep Band. He also leads the Westwood Guitar program.

          Tristan graduated from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona in 2022 receiving his Bachelor of Music Education.

          Tristan is dedicated to creating a community for everyone, believing that excellence is only achievable when students feel respected and seen. Believing in Westwood’s motto, “Where everybody is somebody,” Tristan continues to do everything in his power to improve students’ confidence and self-worth to create a community pursuing musical excellence.
